Mar 28: Stephanie Smith at Acoustic LI

Listen in as this rising-star from Utah delivers her razor-sharp lyrics, emotive melodies and soaring vocals to our cafe audience. For this performance, Stephanie was joined by friend and fellow singer/songwriter Debra Fotheringham on percussion and vocals. Our very own Jon Preddice even chimed in, providing cello parts for “Strong Like Armor” and “Another Ticket.” Describing her music as “hope-infused reality,” Stephanie has been featured by Nokia, AOL and on the soundtrack for the independent film remake of Pride and Prejudice. Find out more, including where to purchase her latest CD, Waves, please visit myspace.com/stephaniesmith. Photo1, Photo2, Photo3, Photo4, Photo5, Photo6, Photo7, Photo8.

Wow! what great music. I wish I could travel to NY to be there, but the podcast will work. Sounds like a great time was had by all. Steph, you rock!

Steph, I forgot. I thought I read somewhere that you were going to do a gig in Logan. Please let me know. Cheryl

What a nice voice, and all for a sudden and magic, there is a smile in a face that didn’t expect to smile a second before. Too bad, that there is no tour schedule for germany planned yet. Yet? Steph, germany is a nice place to play. Think about it :) For the time being, I’ll stick with podcasts until u r here :)
