May 16: Reflections and Rain at Acoustic LI
The rain outside the big, open french doors at the mansion set the stage for a night of reflection and songs in minor keys. Hank Stone reminisced about a life that was, Dan Tannenbaum about a life that might have been, and Tom Griffith wished for the mourning dove to remember a life that’s soon to pass. Definitely a melancholy but super-enjoyable set. But fear not – Billy Alexander gave the mood a lift with his country ditty (“Darlin, if I make if through tonight I’m leaving in the morning.”). And rounding out tonight’s show are Matt Cutillo, Caitlyn Amanda, Martha Trachtenberg, and Jean Paul Vest.
