May 30: Caffeine Squared and Massachusetts Ave at Acoustic LI

Tonight we opened the french doors to the mansion living room — there just wasn’t enough room to keep all that talent inside. (Or the growing crowds!) Example 1: Russ Amundsen’s been coming down to Acoustic LI for a long time – but tonight he finally debuted his guitar talent with the wild, intense flamenco instrumental, “Caffeine Squared.” Example 2: John Flor, emerging from a little hiatus, showed us why sometimes it’s good to take a break – so you can come back with fresh, beautiful gems like “Massachusetts Ave.” The rest of tonight’s examples of fine talent: Mike Jason, Roger Thurber, Jean-Paul Vest, John Wacaster with Andrew White, and Claudia Jacobs with Greg Galluccio.
