Tina Shafer, Kevin Bents and Andrew Fortier - Tina Shafer is a singer songwriter that has performed with John Oates, Beth Neilson Chapman, Phoebe Snow, Vanessa Carlton, Lisa Loeb and Jesse Harris to name a few. She has penned songs for many Divas, TV and Film but loves her acoustic roots best. She has two albums “The Backyard Sky” and “Promises to Eve.” She also Directs the New York Songwriters Circle showcases for 20 years, at The famed Bitter End Club in NYC west Village and teaches voice in her studio in NYC. Kevin Bents is a prolific songwriter and producer. Winner of three Emmys and the Billboard Song Contest, Kevin has co-written songs released by artists Phoebe Snow, Toby Lightman, and Renée Goldsberry. His CD “The Means” (Bashville) has been called “an assured collection of melodic gems” and also “pretty cool”. Besides producing albums for his co-performers Tina Shafer and Andy Fortier, Kevin has produced platinum and gold records for the German artist Marius-Mueller Westernhagen. Andrew Fortier considers himself an archivist, storyteller, most important, husband and dad. His music and words are reflections of life in progress, major recording contracts came and went for Andrew, people say they cant believe he’s not all over the radio or your gonna make it, his reply time after time is, “I’ve already made it as far as my life has been, and the rest is just icing.” The upside down sky is Andrews latest album he dedicates to all the life guards and guardian angels in his life. His glass is at least half full and every day a blank canvas awaits.

I was at the concert with these folks singing . They were electrifying. Each of their styles was very warm and pleasant. I was happy to be there and be afforded the opportunity to hear their music. It was very special.
