Rory Sullivan LIVE at Acoustic Long Island 1-4-2011
Rory Sullivan – Rory Sullivan & The Second Season is a New York City based band playing an infectious blend of progressive folk with pop sensibility and a country flair. Founded by Delaware-bred singer/songwriter Rory Sullivan and the New Hampshire-bred rhythm section of Ryan Gleason and Matt Musty following Sullivan’s relocation to New York City in 2011, the band has quickly built up a following within the indie/folk scene of New York City, as well as in the Northeast and South. Often compared to luminaries Ray LaMontagne and James Taylor, Sullivan has a natural talent for writing insightful, thought-provoking songs. Grammy award winning producer and guitarist Will Ackerman has said of the band, “With brilliant songwriting, guitar skills of a soloist and a voice as big as a house Rory is one of the most impressive young singer/songwriters I’ve heard in a long time.” For more, go to www.rorysullivanmusic.com.
