Apr 9: Lighten Your Load. Wait, Don’t Throw That Away!

Sometimes as the evening unfolds at the mansion, a theme will develop - or in this case, a sharp contrast. On the one hand, we had Lois Morton at her classic best, singing a love song to “stuff” that she can’t let go of. On the other hand, we had Jarrett Krentzel, who let go of it ALL for a summer hike through the entire Appalachian Trail. So whether you’re letting go or holding on, listen in for something just for you. Tonight’s lineup: Dave Dircks, Charlie Bell, Martini Garden, Cory Balsamo, Hank Stone, Lois Morton, Antonio DiMarco, L’Angelo Mysterioso and Martha Trachtenberg. Also, check out Jarett’s memior of his experiences on the trail in his new book, Walking With Pacence.

FREE ADMISSION: Energetic, Evocative and Funky Solo Acoustic Guitar. Original Compositions as well as arrangements of well known songs by Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Bill Withers and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Adam was born and raised in Harlem. He was mugged in front of his building when he was 10. He played in a hard rock band at 12, got ripped off by a club owner on his first gig at 15, and by 18 he was a rapper on a gold record in overseas. That's callled "paying dues" - and you hear it in his songs, in his feeling for the blues, in his groove, in his touch. The history and life experience puts the fire in this man's music. He puts the "sizzle" in the "steak" musically speaking. For more go to
