Apr 30: Jesse Ruben at Acoustic Long Island

It was just Jesse and his guitar on the stage, but the mansion was filled with the incredible, toe-tapping sounds of this rising star from Boston. Within a year of graduating Berklee College of Music, Jesse had sold out venues across the Northeast including the Paradise Lounge, The Bitter End and World Cafe Live, and done a live performance for 1.5 million listeners on Chicago’s KISSFM. Jesse’s material reflects his powerful and innate ability to relate his own life to the lives of those around him, creating an unusually personal experience for his listeners. With the recent release of his first album, Jesse’s writing is innovative, honest, and ready to be heard. Find out more at www.jesseruben.com.

Welcome to the #1 Acoustic Podcast on iTunes - brought to you weekly by
FREE ADMISSION: Energetic, Evocative and Funky Solo Acoustic Guitar. Original Compositions as well as arrangements of well known songs by Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Bill Withers and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Adam was born and raised in Harlem. He was mugged in front of his building when he was 10. He played in a hard rock band at 12, got ripped off by a club owner on his first gig at 15, and by 18 he was a rapper on a gold record in overseas. That's callled "paying dues" - and you hear it in his songs, in his feeling for the blues, in his groove, in his touch. The history and life experience puts the fire in this man's music. He puts the "sizzle" in the "steak" musically speaking. For more go to
